so how does the web design process work?

The first step in any of my website design projects is a 20-30 minute disco call over Zoom.
This is your perfect opportunity to get to know me, understand the way I work and learn what I can do for your business.
Similarly, I'll be asking lots of questions about your business and goals for the future to make sure I'm the perfect fit for your project.
Most importantly, this call is a vibe check. I strive to make all of my web design projects effective, easy and fun and a big part of that process is making sure that we are able to match each other's freak and work well together.
After our discovery call and once we’ve made the decision to collaborate on your website, you will be granted entry to our shared client portal. Inside this portal, you’ll discover your documents, questionnaires, contracts, and invoices, so we can both work easily through the web design process. Our communication will exclusively take place through this portal, streamlining the project and ensuring no details are missed.
The first step of the web design process is a 1 hour strategy call where I can get to know your business and what you’re hoping to achieve with your new website. Setting clear goals at this stage allows me to create a website that makes your business run more simply. All stages of the web design process are iterative, collaborative and managed through your client portal, so you’ll always be kept in the loop on progress. Once the scope and page-map are agreed up, we’ll work on getting your new homepage signed off so we can ensure the design and functionality is on-point before moving on to the rest of the site.
My bespoke web design packages include 5 custom pages that will be decided upon during the strategy phase. All websites are created using Squarespace, so you’ll get video training at the end of the project to help you create new pages and content if you need them down the line.
